Teen Titans RPG takes place approximately a year after the end of the series/movie, and explores the adventures of multiple, world-wide Titans Teams. We draw inspiration from the Teen Titans Go! comics that ran until 2008, the general DC Universe, and the TT fandom.
TTRPG operates in ‘seasons’, meaning that we have large, overarching group plots that last for a period of time. Many of our threads will be dedicated to the season plot, but there is still room to explore other plots as well.
Arc 1
Overarching plot:
Professor Chang has developed a cloning process, and has realized that he can make a profit off creating clones of the Titans, and selling them to other villains. Chang also knows that it would be beneficial to replace a select number of the Titans with clones as well.
To perfect his cloning craft, he starts with lessor heroes, ones that won’t be as missed while they are replicated. As Chang begins creating more successful clones (and of higher ranking Titans), some end up replacing their original counterparts with additional instructions added. Some of the clones are sent to spy, some to sabotage their Teams, and some merely commit acts of crime.
Occasionally, Titans have managed to escape after being cloned (with little to no memory of what had happened), while others are held to create more clones. Some of the original Titans are also put into the hands of other villains for a price.
[Due to this, some members may either be playing clone versions of their designated characters, or temporarily playing cloned characters that do not have an assigned roleplayer]
The Titans initially have no idea that their allies are slowly being replaced, or anything about the clones. Through the use of clues scattered throughout their Missions, they gradually begin to realize what is occurring, and eventually must act to stop it.
